...remember that most of the time it’s just a commuter in a Camry.
The rest of the time, it’s NYPD and that’s a cop car. This is near the Chrysler Building and Grand Central Station. The blue strobe flash mostly scatters in to the white light close-by before reaching my lens, but you can see the blue coloration to the strobe in the street reflection.
As far as undercover cars go, this one was very well done. An older econobox would be even better, but this thing really just looked like someone had recently picked it up from an Enterprise location.

That’s the law here in Ohio, so the cops put a postage stamp sized police emblem on their cars.

Oh, seriously? I work in the Chrysler building and 485 Lex every now and then, as well as over at 633 3rd ave... I’m I.T. for a hospital based on the upper east side, but they have offices all over midtown. What building are you in?

Yeah, I met up with another 1/3 of the Formula Freak Podcast for the first time there. It was an early A.M. GP, but it was still exciting to watch with a crowd.
